I think we came into this season very unprepared and not ready to compete. Had no clue what to do with the lineup. We were slow in getting the Carroll thing figured out. I’m fairly certain they were hoping Dawson and Dillard were both going to be in the rotation , and they were gone. Couldn’t figure out how to make Smith and Mitch effective until close to February .
We seemed to figure out how to play at a higher level by the second bedlam game , but by then too much season had expired.
Hoping for a much more organized approach to the early season when 2018 rolls around .
