Compare the populations of Chicago and Baltimore lol.

Both of these cities have very nice areas and some that are war zone like.

Yes, Chicago has a higher population and that skews the problem a bit on the Southside. Chicago like Baltimore has a large portion of their crime concentrated in under developed, poor, with heavy gang presences, not to mention a lot of illegally owned firearms.

The higher population in Chicago puts their murder totals higher of course and helps them in the murder rate areas.
