Had the best two weeks of practice so far. They practiced them very hard and the players responded. It's up to the coaches to put players in the right position and he can tell when that happens.
Admitted he wanted revenge on KSU for getting his ass kicked last year. Said he's never been beaten like that and the coach's gameplan was bad.
Sounds like Stribling is out for a while if not the year due to hand injury.
They showed the team clips in the locker room of pre game and post game from past teams. For some reason this team doesn't show the hype and the joy of gamedays. The team doesn't have any natural senior leaders so they picked 5 guys and had them tasked to motivate before the game. The atmosphere today pre and post game was completely different for the better. He wants these guys to have those experiences.
He knows he can't shelter the players from all the negative talk and online stuff about the sky falling after the 2 losses.
Complimented the crowd. Went on and on how our fans are "learning" that you can't leave early if you are a bigtime program. He said when he goes to a game he never leaves. (this was pretty funny some of it reminded me of the 3 Downs and a Punt dialogue)
