I was taking my son to Florida 2 days before it hit and it wad already taking me on detours to avoid the area..
He is living in Port Orange, we swam every day for the week we where there......... shark bite capital of the world.
Ps I am jealous, should of gotten a degree. I could talk about traveling with youngs! Lol
I have no regrets.
Life and work experience can trump a degree in all but the most technical disciplines. I've seen plenty of 3.9 GPA idiots with a degree who have terrible work ethic and lack common sense.
I enjoyed my traveling years and all that I got to see, but was happy when I walked away. When you sleepwalk through an airport to your gate without actually looking at your ticket, you know you've made that trip too many times. I enjoy driving the two miles to my business every day.
I did this very thing about a month ago somewhere on this forum but I cant remember where lol. CKLV is THE toughest tournament outside of NCAAs.

I'm lucky. You'd be hard pressed to find a woman that loves OSU wrestling more than my wife. She'd be mad at me if we DID'NT go lol!

You guys are lucky. My wife isn't a wrestling fan. And she got her college degree from Alabama so you can guess where she places her loyalties. When she questions why I'm so eager to go to a wrestling event, I have to keep explaining to her that it isn't just to watch wrestling. One of the primary reasons I go to the big tournament events is that I get to catch up with old friends across the country. I'm looking forward to meeting you OSU guys too. Whenever I go to future wrestling events, I'll have an even bigger list of people who I'll be looking forward to seeing again, and I'll have an even stronger argument for going when my wife wants me to stay home.
I'm sorry to say that I had to cancel this trip. I had something come up that Thursday that I can't miss. I was looking forward to meeting you guys out there. Maybe next year. Now I have to decide whether I want to go to National Duals.
