Chicago gangs want to work with Trump to fight crime

Seems like a great idea.

What if both sides (Trump and the gangs) could actually pull this off and get results? What is there to lose in trying?

Pretty sure Jim Brown etc will be on board.

If I was Trump, I'd publicly state to Rahm: Bring me a plan in 30 days of exactly what Federal assistance you would require to reduce 2017 gun violence in Chicago by 50%. Then if he's not successful, its on Rahm and the Dems as Trump did as asked. And if he is successful, he can claim credit for working with the Dems to find real solutions to problems (something the last administration failed to do) and that he's decoupling power from Washington and giving it back to the states/cities.
