The Israeli/Palestinian “situation.” And some of you aren’t going to like it, but you need to hear it anyway. If you do nothing else watch the video on Number 8. It’s only about a minute and a half long.

It is testament to the spectacular success of Israel’s propaganda equating criticismLOL, i find it disgusting to call me a ant-Semite even though I'm a anti-Smite. SMFH
It is testament to the spectacular success of Israel’s propaganda equating criticism
of the Israeli government and any action it takes, no matter how horrendous it might be, with anti-Semitism. Talk about giving yourself a free pass to do anything you want, and then playing the victim card if someone objects!
I would ask that you not call me an Israel hater. You are projecting an attitude onto me that I do not have. It's pretty simple to me. I accept Israel as a country, as such they have every right to govern their country as they see fit and defend themselves when threatened. I guess if the Palestinians or anyone else doesn't like it they can attack Israel all they want but when they get their ass kicked don't cry like little bitches.
Benjamin Netanyahu once said
“If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel'”
and he is absolutely right.
Now compare what Netanyahu said to what the Hamas Chief had to say:
We won’t discuss recognizing Israel, only wiping it out.
One is willing to try and live in peace, the other is not only not interested in peace they are intent on the destruction of Israel.
Now I'm not sure about you or the other Israel haters but it seems to me Israel is not the problem here.
I would ask that you not call me an Israel hater. You are projecting an attitude onto me that I do not have.
I don’t think you are an anti-Semite. But you might want to consider with who you are aligning yourself by thinking the article was fair and accurate. Universally Republicans and Democrats support Israel. Israel is our strongest ally in the volatile mideast region.I would ask that you not call me an Israel hater. You are projecting an attitude onto me that I do not have.
It is not a case of my support for one side or the other. The Israeli government acts with impunity in it’s too-often egregious treatment of the Palestinian people. The quote provided by Bearcat and reiterated by you is in full alignment with Johnstone’s article, particularly Number 6. I would ask you to offer your assessment of what she says in Number 4. And while you’re at it would you confirm or deny the opinion offered by the video in Number 8.I don’t think you are an anti-Semite. But you might want to consider with who you are aligning yourself by thinking the article was fair and accurate. Universally Republicans and Democrats support Israel. Israel is our strongest ally in the volatile mideast region.
Republicans have super-majority support for Israel, Democrats majority support for Israel. The only ideological group that doesn’t support are far-left liberals, progressives, and socialists. That is Omar, Talib, AOC, Sanders, Pocan, and Cori Bush.
Bearcat’s quote from Netanyahu is still true. There can be no “both sides” on support for Israel. I am fine if there is a two-state solution, but right now ...only one side is aligning itself for a terrorist organization. Only one side shot the first missiles. Why would you support that side?
