Russia enemy 1a. China 1b. As an aside. I have been anti Government spying on citizens since 2003, I have believed our devices have been spying on us since Ma Bell and have told anyone who would listen that our downfall would come at the proliferation of technology that is made in a foreign state. China comes as no surprise in fact the only surprise is how long it’s taken for everyone to wake up to this reality.

Aside from the Ma Bell reference, I'm pretty much in full agreement with your aside.

Technology offers infinitely more attack vectors to nefarious actors and most people want to act like nothing is any different.

It was only a matter of time before China pulled something like the supermicro stunt, and it sounds like they actually did it over three years ago. That makes me suspect they have moved on to something even more sophisticated which hasn't been discovered yet.

The Ma bell just meant they’ve been able to listen in or record the very basics of our communications since forever. Now most countries can too.

Hillary would have been bad, but she would have been much better than the characters that the DNC is going to be running over the next several years.

There is no place in the DNC for moderate voices like Sam Nunn, Bill Clinton, and Joe Leiberman.
