This really indicates that the swampy establishment can't beat a guy named none of these candidates. The establishment keeps telling themselves they will get the party back, that Trump has lost the Republicans' votes, and it's Trump's fault for losing the last three elections. They are completely delusional at this point. Trump has grown the party since he held office in 2016, and he is continuing to grow the party now. For every swampy establishment lost, Trump today is gaining two additions to the party, and possibly more. Niki represents the establishment, and the writing is all over the walls.
Don't get me wrong I love the idea of Trump. I just wish it was someone better tempered then Trump. I feel he takes the lefts bait to easy.

One reason you should be concerned about Trump: when he ran in 2016 he bragged that he hires the best people, then proceeded to hire some of the most corrupt and untrustworthy establishment/NeoCons to help run his administration. Since he was bounced out of office he has endorsed candidates that proceeded to get their asses handed to them, and endorsed other candidates who won and proved to be establishment squishes. A certain Senator from Oklahoma comes immediately to mind.
Another thing to keep in mind about Trump: when he was running in 2016 he bragged that he “knows all the best words.” I almost hyperventilated from laughing so hard when he said that. It turns out his 4 favorite words are I, me, my and mine.
I don't care about any of that. I care about results only. Trump's results outperform his rhetoric. He is a tool and best chance to get what I want. I will throw him away the moment he no longer can be that tool.
I'm with you on that, Brother, Trump far exceeds what the Democrats offer. But he's no picnic, and I think an argument can be made that his "performance" fell drastically in his reaction to Covid, and most perople were no better off when he left office than the day he entered it.
Covid showed how strong the Establishment Deep State or however you want to refer to it is. Trump's gut instinct was right but with everyone in the Deep State, Social Media and the MSM spreading fear porn and censoring anything that didn't perfectly aligned with the deep state narrative, Trump had no choice but to go along with the advice he was given by the supposed experts. Hell they tried to crucify him for his initial reaction to it. Remember he was a racist for shutting down travel from China and it was his fault the medical community didn't have a clue, it was his fault they didn't have ventilators etc, etc, etc. Trump wanted to open the country back up against the advice of the experts no less but it was Democrats that kept it closed. Knowing what we know now Trump was right and everyone pushing the Covid fear porn was wrong yet none of those that were wrong have paid the price much less apologized. Even worse dumbasses in this country have forgotten all about it and still listen to the people that were blatantly wrong and IMHO were knowing lying to the people for political purposes.
The Covid response was his biggest mistake. His defense will be that he is being undermined from within, which is true to an extent. He could have made different decisions, is the response to that. The COVID economy was not his doing, and I think people will give him a pass on that. What people know is they had more money with Trump, but with Biden, they are having a difficult time trying to survive Bidennomics.
This is why the “no sides/both parties suck guys” are full of shit. It’s become obvious that these “no sides” (😂) swing voters are swinging either toward democrooks or neocon establishment republicrooks. Trump, those like him, and their supporters are the only people who are actually walking the walk and bucking the establishment. The professed “no sides guys” are nothing but a lot of hot air and fecal matter from a bull’s ass.
Could Trump have made different decisions during Covid? House Democrats tried to impeach him on lies, undermine everything he did with the full support of the media. Then Covid hit and the Democrats and the MSM went into full blown sky is falling mode which had a huge effect on the American people. People were scared and themselves went into panic mode. Democrat states went into full Hitler Joseph Stalin mode arresting and fining people into oblivion for merely trying to work. In Michigan you could not by paint to paint a room, who thought that made the slightest sense.
Sure Trump could have made different decision but his days would have been numbered, Democrats would have removed him for not following their science or some other stupid made up BS.

You make an excellent point. I guess I just haven’t reflected enough, as @Alpha Woke suggests, on why so many people from both sides always want to believe their guy is the only thing standing between America the Beautiful and utter devastation.
I remember when Tump was prez and continually told us China was kicking our economic ass and would continue to do so unless we adopt the Chinese method, and many posters on this board, Trump devotees all, called for the US government (under Trump’s direction) to take the Chinese approach to running the country’s economy.
