Boston City Council member Julia Mejia said that suburban residents need to step up and begin offering their homes as migrant shelters.

This is how it starts, government asks people to house illegals in their homes. When that doesn't work government will try to shame people as not being uncaring and greedy. When that fails government will offer incentive then they will switch from offering incentives to handing out punishment for not aiding by it's demands. How long does it take for government to declare an emergency and force people to take illegals into their homes?

Good question. I think we are in the beginning stages of that, and it will take a while for governments to catch up. They risk being removed before the forcing from the government takes place.
