It's possible his natural weight is close to 200 and he's bulked up for football. If he doesn't plan to play football in college, he could move down if those things are true. But yeah just from the eye test, it doesn't look like 197 would be easy

Plus, we already have a great prospect redshirting this year and he will be a redshirt freshman next year( Cody Merrill). I think Merrill's potential is unlimited. Next year I think Cody will challenge for a National Championship. I watch all of his matches with interest to see his development. We want Ross at HWT.

Lets do that. Cody 184 (Will solve Thomson problem), Coby 197, Ross HWT red shirt while we get the Campbell kid from portal? Will solve lot of problems on upper weights for few years.

That would be great, but I think that Cody is not a 184 and I think Coby is a HWT. Last year Cody was a HWT and I remember him saying I like to eat.

Pretty sure Cody certified for 184 this year. If nothing else it gives us a little flexibility for a year or two.
