That's awesome. Sad as I should know this but what weight did smith wrestle at as a senior? Surprised he was 126lbs.

Might have misunderstood the question. John was 136 as a HS senior, then 126, 134, 134, 134 in college.

Obe, as a Sheets fan like myself you'll probably enjoy this one as well;

1983 NCAA finals in OKC; Sheets vs Reich @ 50:45 and Monday vs Carr @ 29:29. I can still remember feeling sick when Reich hocked up that cradle but Sheets just pulled his head out of it like it was no trouble at all. I'd forgotten about the stall points in the Monday/Carr match.

It's also interesting to notice the total lack of hoopla in the proceedings; you'd think it was just some mid year tourney.
