Bill Maher calls it like it is

His cult of personality that's allowed him to utter the N word several times with marginal protests, and total impunity.
Otherwise he'd have been ostracized like Weinstein and K. Spacey.

Is there any part of you that realizes how empty the smug emoji is at this point? Zero gravitas
One thing I have learned about Pokeabear is he is not interested in gravitas, truth or rational discussion. Like almost every leftist I have ever met he is interested in looking clever. Pokeabear, poor guy, has confused his emojis with cleverness.

I agree with Bill Americans are not into details.

That’s quite a blanket statement that he makes all the time. A lot of Americans are not, but that’s because they don’t have to be. Life here is so leisurely due to dominating the world economy for so long we’ve created a class of clueless people who aren’t impacted by whoever is elected.

I would like to know, which countries are into details? Maybe your top ten that really dive into modern politics and get the whole story.

So us Americans have someone to emulate.

The only details that matter are that the chief prosecutor for the special counsel found no evidence of Trump campaign collusion with Russia and that he deferred the obstruction part to two other highly experienced prosecutors who said there wasn't enough evidence to charge obstruction. What additional details are pertinent?

I doubt anyone on this board besides our long lost (and sorely missed) CowboyJD has anything close to the experience that those three well seasoned, respected, and competent prosecutors have. If there was a gotcha, they would have found it.

You will be surprised, in my experience Europeans are more into details than Americans are, Indians are very well read and are aware of the world around them.
Educated Pakistanis are but then it is a very small percentage of the total population which is illeterate.
I agree with you because of a very comfortable life style americans just don't
give a damn until it affects them personally.
I have read a quarter of the Mueller report it is very interesting.

Stupid Americans. amiright?
I can never call americans stupid and that is not what i meant.
not interested in what is going on, this for sure.
even supporting Trump most on these board i don't think read enough.

You make a perfect liberal. Anyone who disagrees with you, there is no respect. It’s because they don’t read enough. That’s a total crock. Look at the hell holes of our inner cities. What book can I read that makes that kind of culture appealing?

Yes. I've hung out all up and down Alameda in East Central LA, north of I-80 in Gary, Indiana, Main Street in Jersey City, East Cleveland, East St. Louis, Bird Road in South Miami, City of Industry, Kalifornia, Camden, South Chicago, Baltimore, et al. I've offered to be a tour guide for white liberals to show them right up close what 50 years of total Democrat control does for inner cities. I never found a taker.

I've also slept all night down by the railroad tracks in Salt Lake City where there's virtually no gun laws. Kennasaw, Georgia, too, where the population is well armed.

Nothing you typed here is remotely accurate. It's so hard to take you seriously. From the things you post, it's pretty clear you need to read a bit more.

What book are you reading now and what was your most recent finish? I just finished Extreme Ownership (great book on leadership). Currently reading Emotional Intelligence 2.0. I focus on books that grow me rather than read blame novels that refuse to account for people's self-determination.

If I’ve learned one thing from the 20+ countries I’ve visited, it’s that everyone is obsessed with the US. If I’ve learned anything else it’s that, being from the US, I’m expected to have intimate knowledge of the happenings in every other country on the planet.

I am neither arrogant nor I am closed minded.
And to your other question there are lot of books available on inner city workings
in the US
Give us an example of a book available on "inner city workings." If there are lots, you should be able to name at least one that you've read.

More Guns, Less Crime by John Lott is good reading. Mr. Lott used to be a gun banning sniveling liberal. Something caught Mr. Lott's attention and he went on to do meticulous gun homicide research on every single U. S. county.

Gun homicides are rare in Boise, Idaho. Boise is not run by plantation crackers.
I don't think the lefties here have figured you out yet. I'm glad you're posting here, sir!

My cement plant closed in 1987. I took the advice of a Tulsa banker and became a "professional tourist" from 1990 to May, 2003. I've covered just about every square kilometer of 48 states and much of two provinces of Canada. I've done my time in inner city war zones. What an education!

If Des Moines were in the middle of Texas, that's where I'd live. I've never been a fan of WHO radio in Des Moines.

I'm almost embarrassed to describe my actual job description so I won't. And no. I wasn't a mule.

Really? That's what you are reading for knowledge and yet you criticize others on this forum for 'not reading enough'. I bet the Schiff report was the last thing you read right?
