Downey sucks. Didn’t do crap the entire match.
One shot all match and he hits it. Fish was in deep several times.
Fish with 2 absolutely brutal losses right at the end of the match.

We could win going away, lose a heartbreaker, or win at the buzzer. These are the kind of moments that could be special and convert people into lifelong fans.
Teague is coming back from injury but that was a very poor match by Teague and then Fish loses a tight match. Looks like we will keep the title in question until the finals. I hope we wrestle better than today in consolations.

I think we're fine. I see us either going 3-1 or 2-2 vs UNI.
Edit - 2-1 or 1-2. I thought all 4 of their matches was against us.

I don't think UNI gained points from that match from what I'm seeing on Trackwrestling. It may be you only earn points from bonus points in those matches. Can @wrestleknownothing or someone else confirm?
How were we 28.5 points ahead going into last night, have 6 finalists to their 4, and now have a 12 point lead?
They have more guys wrestling in this morning’s session than we did
Advancement and bonus points in consultations. Every point helps and that's what PSU has done for years. Drop to consultation then rack up points.
I thought when placing 8, 16 points where earned for 1st?
That 4 points plus 1 for a decision and so on?
After you make the finals 2nd place points are awarded, if you win you get the additional 4.

For them to win, they'd have to win all of their matches with some bonus points and we'd have to lose all of our matches.
I was wrong on another post. They have 4 matches, 3 are against us. I could see us going 2-1 or 1-2 against UNI.
Is there a place to bet on how many times their douche coaches throw a brick in the finals?

I'm apparently not mathing today. If they won all and we lost all they'd have 4 more points. It's been a long weekend. I don't see them winning all and us losing all.

Just say they win 3 decisions and we lose all, they’d beat us by 3? We only have 12 on them.

A decision win in the finals is worth 4 points I think. So 3 decisions for them and none for us would tie us.
If they won all 4 they'd get 16 points minimum not counting bonus points.
We currently have a 12 point lead.
If they won 3 and we lost all then they would tie without bonus points.
Their maximum points is 24. We have 12. So we need at at least 13 points in any combination of our wins, our bonus points, or their losses to secure the title. I'm not sure if that makes sense but that's how I see it.
