YesNicco Ruiz med forfeited this morning. Assuming he med forfeits the 5th place match against Amine, does that give us the same bonus points as a pin for the team score?
Teague looked GREAT against McDougald. Very encouraging
Teague Travis is officially an NCAA qualifier!
5th I believe165 - Amine is 3rd with a Medical Forfeit.
Travis is on Mat 3.
Teague is coming back from injury but that was a very poor match by Teague and then Fish loses a tight match. Looks like we will keep the title in question until the finals. I hope we wrestle better than today in consolations.149 - Travis will finish in 4th. I missed the final score.
I think we're fine. I see us either going 3-1 or 2-2 vs UNI.If you have friends or family who are somewhat interested in wrestling, be sure to tell them the stakes tonight and how to watch on ESPNU. I have no idea how this is going to play out. We could win going away, lose a heartbreaker, or win at the buzzer. These are the kind of moments that could be special and convert people into lifelong fans.
Fish drops [to UNI] for 4th place. Missed points over UNI.
Advancement and bonus points in consultations. Every point helps and that's what PSU has done for years. Drop to consultation then rack up points. How were we 28.5 points ahead going into last night, have 6 finalists to their 4, and now have a 12 point lead?
4 for decisionHow many team points do you get for a win in the finals.
I thought when placing 8, 16 points where earned for 1st?4 for decision
5 for major decision
5.5 for tech fall
6 for for fall
For them to win, they'd have to win all of their matches with some bonus points and we'd have to lose all of our matches. So if we go 0-fer and/or UNI wins all their championship bouts, they win? We have a 12 point lead going into tonight
Is there a place to bet on how many times their douche coaches throw a brick in the finals? For them to win, they'd have to win all of their matches with some bonus points and we'd have to lose all of our matches.
I was wrong on another post. They have 4 matches, 3 are against us. I could see us going 2-1 or 1-2 against UNI.
Eh, I think they have more paths than that. For them to win, they'd have to win all of their matches with some bonus points and we'd have to lose all of our matches.

I'm apparently not mathing today. If they won all and we lost all they'd have 4 more points. It's been a long weekend. I don't see them winning all and us losing all.Eh, I think they have more paths than that.
Let’s get through this, I’m doing something wrong?I'm apparently not mathing today. If they won all and we lost all they'd have 4 more points. It's been a long weekend. I don't see them winning all and us losing all.
A decision win in the finals is worth 4 points I think. So 3 decisions for them and none for us would tie us.Let’s get through this, I’m doing something wrong?
Just say they win 3 decisions and we lose all, they’d beat us by 3? We only have 12 on them.
There’s more than a few scenarios that knock us off?
If they won all 4 they'd get 16 points minimum not counting bonus points.Let’s get through this, I’m doing something wrong?

Awesome! If they won all 4 they'd get 16 points minimum not counting bonus points.
We currently have a 12 point lead.
If they won 3 and we lost all then they would tie without bonus points.
Their maximum points is 24. We have 12. So we need at at least 13 points in any combination of our wins, our bonus points, or their losses to secure the title. I'm not if that makes sense but that's how I see it.
