No. We have Trumpcare, a watered down just as sh!tty version of what was there before.

In both Obamacare and Trumpcare, the deductible is so high you might as well not even have insurance.

Maybe the problem is..... health insurance?

5600 in premiums and deductible before insurance turns a tap

then you pay 20%

seriously wtf is that

I've been saying it for years. It's ludicrous. The health insurers make nothing. Provide no service. They skim. They have incredible power and they're unelected.

otard made them

2016 october premium increase was maga s unsung hero

Or generations of republican congresses and presidents.
I don't understand why you're always bitching about health insurance. Are you not saving $2,500 a year on health insurance premiums like was promised with Obamacare? Do you expect someone to underwrite the cost of your healthcare for free? If you hate health insurance that much, stop paying for it. Pay your own medical bills. It's a free country and nobody is forcing you to buy a product you despise (true now that the mandate was killed).

Or maybe it's all the people in this country that look to the government to care for them and solve all their problems instead of self reliance.

As usual, the point multiple people have made has gone over your head. The people that actually pay insurance premiums out of pocket are disproportionately subsidizing others. The mandate makes e1 pay their own way instead of me having to pay it.

What are your health insurance premiums?

Zero on premiums, 185 annual deductible for office calls.

Why are you constantly bitching? Did Messiahcare not make your healthcare affordable like was promised? It's called the Affordable Care Act for fvcks sake. What isn't affordable for you?

I can only assume based on your post you don't understand the term self reliance.

Something not may people understand is private health insurance has been subsidizing other people's healthcare for decades but with the massive number of people aging into Medicare and with Medicare reimbursements not covering healthcare providers expenses we reached a tipping point. It's like some people don't have the slightest comprehension of simple math.

Our premiums for family coverage are right at $1200 a month, with a $5500 deductible per person, $11,000 for the family and that is for a lessor plan than what we had previously. Before Obamacare we paid under $600 a month had a $500 family deductible and 100% emergency room coverage.

You got the profit part wrong. But Obama allowed this shit show to happen and unless it is replaced it will get worse. John McCain's hate for Donald Trump f'd the whole country.

This is how freaking corrupt Obama's deal with the insurance companies was. He had a hidden claus that mandated that the federal government cover any insurance company losses. Trump has stopped it and the insurance companies are wanting to sue.

Some of you don't seem to understand where the majority of Insurance profits come from. Sure they make a little on premiums, as they should, but the lions share of profits come from profits made from investing the premiums they receive.
I always tell people if they hate insurance companies so much why don't they self insure and take that risk themselves.

In the early eighties, I watched Robert Mugabe destroy the African continent's crown jewel heath care system. I watched our own Mugabe lay the ground work to destroy ours.

Our Mugabe promised me I could keep my doctor and my United health care plan if I so chose. Both are gone.

you know dollars a kid who makes $8 an hour at burger king dollars

not $20M exec bonus dollars

CEO's of multibillion dollar companies make ridiculous money, just what todays market is. While we may not like it, each companies board of directors think they need to pay that amount in order to find the right person for the job. It's not like people capable of successfully operating multi billion dollar companies are growing on trees. They have simple machines that can flip burgers.

Kind of off topic to some but one of my major problems with unions is they are not stock owners of the companies they hold for ransom. If unions truly had the interest of the employee at heart, they would spend the billions they raise in union dues obtaining large amounts of stock. Those that own large amounts of stock also have a large voice in the corporation.
