It’s not uncommon for people to get cut/severances and then rehired within 6 months. They can report to investors they cut SG&A by xx% this quarter. Stock goes up. Execs sell stocks, get richer, hire people back. Do the Same thing in 18 months. It’s a sick cycle. I know a guy that’s been severenced/rehired by big blue 4 times in his career.
