I'm not a betting man but I also recognize that smart people don't spend dumb money (on average). I take betting odds as crowdsourcing in a way. So for what it is worth. A negative number connotes favorite. A lower positive number connotes a favorite over a higher positive number:
Team:
PSU -6000
OSU +1000
IA +1500
NE +2200
125: LL at +140, Ramos at +330, Figs at +360. Spratley is at +950 (6th)
141: Tagen is +1500 (8th)
149: Teague is +10000
157: Fish is +2000 (13th)
165 was not published
174: KOT at +110, Haines at +125, Dean at +450, Pinto at +1000
184: CStar at -300, Keck at +160, Plott at +800, McEnelly at +800
197 was not published
Heavy: GS at -700, Kerk at +425, Wyatt at +450, Trephan at +1200
Starting in reverse, Gable is THE prohibitive favorite, although I can't see 165. Kerk and Wyatt are virtually tied. At 174, KOT and Levi are neck and neck with Dean being the clear 3rd. At 184, CStar is the clear favorite with Plott and McEnelly being tied for 3rd. Spratley should AA around 5th/6th, and Tagen should take 8th.
Without being able to see 165 (Amine) and 197 (Surber), the odds favor 5 AAs plus whatever is in store at those two weights. Three 3rds, a 6th, and an 8th. Decent chance to have two finalists.
All with a grain of salt, but not too far off my thoughts.
