That whole thing could have been incredibly more interesting if the small business owner had actually listed the regulations that is harming him. Even just one. What that video did show is trying to battle large corporations with over-arching regulations will always hurt someone you don't intend to. We have a real problem passing regulations with a bunch of shit in it and most people don't know what is in there. It is all a big game for special interest. Politics is all about convoluting issues until no one understand WTF is going on any more.
Bernie did fine. The video should be titled, How to rationally debate regulations with someone that's critical of regulations but can't discuss a specific regulation.

That was a really boring video that I felt showed nothing I haven't heard 1000 times. Bernie was ranting against millionaires and billionaires and a small business owner was ranting against the government. It is a worthless discussion unless there are some specifics listed.
I am a small business owner and I can say with respect to Bernie, it pissed me the hell off when I found out GE didn't pay a cent in taxes on billions of profits while my company that employs 20 people was sending in 35%. I don't have the money to lobby Congress so that they pass a law giving me tax credit for making a certain product. I also see the issues with regulations. My point is both gentlemen have a point, and unless you discuss specifics it's a meaningless dialogue.

I actually agree - town hall forums are great. But it's a hard no on him cutting back on tweets. That's pure gold.
Not sure what you think is happening here. I don't think anyone is scrambling to find regulations for you to examine. But, keep waiting. Maybe I'm wrong.
You purposely conflate cheerleading for Trump with being strongly against the dishonest daily attacks on the guy and the hacks like you who repeat them. Establishing the difference to you is unimportant, but what you are doing is what Scott Adams would call "scrambling the frame." Except, you aren't very good at it. Now, having said that. 1. I've never blamed "Obama" for regulations on businesses. 2. I have never claimed that regulations have hurt my business in any way.
Oh I'm never gonna "get it." I'm like the majority of voters, fwiw. He lost by 2.8 million votes. More people know he's a joke than don't, but the rural, tax recipient states voted him in. How'd it go last time we elected a POTUS that lost the popular vote? He's generally regarded as the worst president ever. (Biff and I agree on that one.) Thank you, I respectfully decline to "get it."
In hindsight maybe dems should've been responding to every criticism for the last 8 years by claiming sour grapes and saying you lost. That's the level of discourse you get from conservatives. It's about exorcising their demons, peeing on people, making people bow, serial sexual harassment of subordinates (e1 at Fox, apparently).
I can't wait for this shit show.
