Jeez Dan, I guess we should just ignore the all the immigrants Canada has allowed into thier country who then enter our country illegally, bringing crime, drugs and potential terrorist activities with them. Not all but even a small percentage of big numbers results in an unacceptable threat to the US. Hopefully it doesn't take someone close to you experiencing tragedy for you to open your eyes and finally get it. Our family has been lucky so far but several friends of our family haven't been. They've lost children, grandchildren to fentanyl and had a couple friends family members killed by illegal drunk drivers. I don't even want to think about the potential for sexual assault. Then how much property damage has been suffered by illegals who do not carry insurance and cause accidents resulting in no telling how much damage.
No reasonable person thinks we can 100% stop illegal immigration but we do think both Canada and Mexico shouldn't be facilitating it.
On a brighter note it was announced this morning Mexico is sending ten thousand troops to the border to help secure the border in exchange for delaying tariffs. While that troop deployment is not the final solution it is a good start and proof Trump's threats of tariffs are having a positive effect for our country and IMO positive for Mexico. Who knows what that commie POS running Canada will do but he's gone in March and Canada will have a different leader who hopefully is far more reasonable.
