It was bad when Hamas pulled off their surprise attack one day 7+ months ago, it’s been bad for the following 7 months of unrestricted slaughter by Israel, and it’s bad for Hamas to reattack in return. I’m pretty sure that while Israel was doing the slaughtering you guys were okay with it because “war is hell,” as you put it. So you probably shouldn’t fault Hamas for fighting back, it’s war after all. I on the other hand just want to see the fighting come to a stop. It appears Hamas is far from defeated and they seem to be taking the Ukrainian approach of fighting to the last Palestinian. In return Israel is bound to lose some of their favorite sons so Netanyahu can stay out of prison. The time is fast approaching when Israelis *will* look in the mirror and ask what the hell they’ve gotten involved in. Just like I call on Ukraine and Russia to negotiate peace, so I ask Israel and Hamas to do the same.
