Yeah, that's it. Powell does what he does just to thwart Trump's great policies. It cannot possible be that Powell thinks he's doing the right thing for America. We need a slight recession to force Powell to get interest rates back down. If we can get mortgage rates down to around 6% or under the real estate market and economy will boom. Powell isn't going to do anything that could be seen as helping Trump unless his hand is forced.

Wasn’t to your boy that put him in his post? If he’s as bad as you think he is (and let’s be honest you think he’s bad because your boy told you he’s bad) it says as much or more about your boy’s judgement than it says anything about him.If he were doing the right thing for America he would have raised rates instead of telling the easily manipulated inflation was transitory. Anyone not drinking the Democrat Koolaid knew inflation was going through the roof.
Jerome Powell, Federal Reserve Chair, repeatedly referred to inflation as "transitory" throughout 2021, particularly in the early stages of the pandemic-related economic recovery. Specific examples include a speech in March 2021, comments in June 2021, and a speech in August 2021. These statements were made while inflation was rising, but Powell and other Fed officials believed the increases were temporary and would be followed by a period of lower inflation. Later, the Fed acknowledged that inflation was not transitory and was more persistent than initially anticipated, leading to a shift in policy and a more hawkish stance on interest rates.
Powell was instrumental in the inflation is transitory BS and was way to slow in raising rated when it was needed. In turn I believe he will be to slow in cutting rates and will only do so reluctantly because it's Trump. IMO he is political and that is not good. My opinion has nothing to do with Trump's comments, only my belief he's political.Wasn’t to your boy that put him in his post?
