Yeah, that’s what I’m “ranting about,” egg prices, not the hypocrisy involved in Trump wanting to import more eggs to lower their price and make the country happy in contravention of *his* ranting that importing products and services with lower prices is somehow taking advantage of us, to which you stand up and cheer.

Hypocrisy? Jeez Dan you are losing it. In case you haven't heard that dumbass President we had before freak out and ordered millions of egg laying chickens killed due to the bird flu. No idea if that was right or wrong only that the results are a shortage of egg laying chickens, which in turn created a shortage of eggs. In turn Democrats after 4 years of not giving a shit about the the price of everything skyrocketing, are now finally upset over the price eggs rising. I guess we should respond with "Welcome to the Party Pal". If importing eggs until our chicken farmers can recover from the ordered genocide of their herds helps, so be it. If Trump wants to provide an exemption on tariffs that's his prerogative and fits his exact promise of "America First". Feel free to disagree and cry all you want, we will just laugh at you.

I don’t know from where Trump wants to import the eggs, but if it’s Canada or Mexico what they ought to do is say they’ll only sell their eggs to America for the current high price that has DJT so concerned because they don’t want to take advantage.
