Yep. And benching him in the NC game was one of the best coaching decisions Saban ever made. But Gump U is hypocritical to now claim one of their cast offs as part of their football lore.
I know you guys hate him but LR is a QB guy and one year he got JH ready for the NFL. Maybe the NC benching also motivated him but LR is a great QB coach IMO.
LR is great at developing QBs and calling plays, but as a head coach, he only seems to be able to field half a team.
Been seeing a lot of that on SM lately, bama fans jumping on the Hurts bandwagon. Once Tua emerged they brushed him aside. Meh, he played for both Schools and likely it helped his draft stock in doing so instead of staying at Bama on the bench his last yr. Smart move on his part.
Jalen's play never changed between the two teams. And hasn't to this day.

OU will visit Stillwater for Bedlam Nov. 4. OU will open Big 12 play at Cincinnatti. OU will play newcomers UCF and BYU but not Houston. Don't know yet if there will be a 2024 Bedlam.
I worked at Baylor the summer of 2015. They gave me a baseball cap. I sometimes wear it. I taught some Baylor faculty how to count US currency. They were never taught the structure and history of the US buck, as is the case of most US educators.
