When I was 15 so 8 years ago I was at the Dallas zoo ( I'm 23 so 2007) I was wearing an OSU Shirt when a lady approached me. She said its interesting to see you in an OSU shirt down here and I told her I was from tulsa visiting but I was a diehard OSU fan. She said well that's a wonderful place and of course I agreed but she continued by saying my oldest son went their to play football. I got excited and asked who her son was! To my shock it was Vernon Grants mother...I immediately paused and didn't know what to say. She started to lose it a little bit but gathered herself to say I miss that wonderful boy but he loved his life at OSU and I just wanted to say something.
