75% had positive feeling

Kind of makes you question the 25%. They are either blinded by hate or stupidity or they know it's positive and they answer in the negative anyway to help the narrative. If I was in one of those groups I would question whether any of my opinions were valid.

I picture some baby Huey looking dem with his thumb in his mouth scowling in a corner and weakly wailing "but Trump is a meanie!"

This only proves that the sheep are happy to be led. Too many on this board right now for my comfort...

Do you think it's that, or is it that the "sheep" just hate Hillary?

I dislike both parties but I can't bring myself to vote for a democrat.

The media is concocting its narrative for the Trump win as we speak. They will reach in their bag and pull out all of the usual words they employ when they get their ass handed to them and the people start getting their way -- words like the "dark side of America," "mean," "selfish," and other such B.S.

That you don't understand that he represents perhaps the best chance for change in a lifetime makes me SMH.

Do you think Trump's speech was full of hate? I keep hearing that and just cant get my mind wrapped around it.
Haven't seen or listened to it. Was a bit predisposed this week. What I have read, in the excerpts, is pure lunacy. Perhaps that is the difference, his delivery must have been something...

I see lots of sheep... including those who somehow are convinced that Government (Government by Trump I suppose) can now solve all our ills. How the F$%CK did that happen?

All our ills is a stretch. Turning the boat in the right direction is good enough.

Forget this cycle. Name one person in this country.
Hmmm... that takes some noodling. Weld is all I can come up with off the top of my head.

I end up in the upper right quadrant of this graph:

A 3rd Term would be preferable to either of these choices (at least one person reading this just stroked out I know).

That your news sources would convey that isn't surprising.

Yeah, the NYTimes can not be trusted...
The speech was nearly 1.33 hours in duration. That the NYT would spoon feed you excerpts that you characterize that way (because I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, since you aren't bringing the quotes that trouble you to the board for analysis for transparency), isn't surprising in the least.

See the How thread for a quote or two for you to analyze...

@davidallen I have to agree here. If you want to call it lunacy then you need to have formed your own opinion by watching it.

Your serious Clark? You think this need to look toward government to fix all of our ills is a new phenomenon, and not only that, specific to Trump supporters?

Further, with hundreds, possibly thousands, of statements to choose from in a massive text, your analysis appears remedial, insufficient in quantity and quality. It's on the Clintoon level. Unless you bring more to the table, where transparency is a disinfectant, your lunacy statement is couched in your partisan beliefs and willful blindness.
