Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere already (I've looked but haven't found anything) but does anyone know why John Holcomb is not doing the Cowboys' radio broadcast today?

He's done reports from AZ for KOTV/KWTV the last couple days (including last night) so I know he's been in AZ.

I think a great deal of John Holcomb and I hope he's well.

Watching the Rose Bowl, it occurred to me that OSU is the only team I know of that didn't have anyone opt out of non-playoff bowl games? There could be others - Utah, maybe?

Regardless, I do think it speaks very well of the culture Mike has actively created. Even guys in the portal played and with very high effort.

In the current climate we are in, that's really saying something.

I knew it would be bad when getting back on the boards. Not a lot of people at the game but those that were sure was loud and ND fans liked everything about us. I did find it interesting during the trophy presentation what Gundy said. He did say no disrespect to other teams but we have a logo too.

At Dallas I never could hear the announcers or ref over the speakers. Today the guy called Brown Holmes on numerous occasions or Rodriquez Richardson. The PA guy was awful. Give it up to our people in Stillwater as they do a great job.

Hire a real DC In January please.

The thing that was taken out of our offense to help the defense was the major component which won the game for us today. I will agree that we couldn’t run tempo early on because of our oline, but we should have used it more the last half of the season. It also appears that SS functions better in that style of offense.

Man I’m gonna miss watching him in Orange. Such excellent vision and cutting ability. And strong as an ox. Hope he gets a shot at the next level.

One head coach knew it was going to be a 4 quarter game and kept his team steady and made the big calls when needed.

One offensive coordinator made adjustments to begin to attack the weakness of the opposing defense with creative play calls and pushed all the right buttons on a game saving drive when needed.

One defensive coordinator/staff scrapped the game plan, adjusted and shut the opposing offense down when it counted.

Maybe ESPN will give our guys the credit they deserve today. I bet they showed the ND OC and that celebration video 10 times today….

We either scored or fumbled in red zone. Left 18 points out there. Pretty impressive!

has 14 4 star players committed. It's pretty amazing what our program is able to achieve with the level of players we are able to recruit and how we can compete. We take the Cowboy Culture for granted but I can't find any other reason to explain our success. Congratulations to Coach Gundy and our athletic department.

That we lined up fourth and short against Notre Dame and just big boy'd them with the game on the line.

Another all SEC final that was already played! The ratings will go down AGAIN most levels Kelly since we know how this will turn out!!
