Some good news here. Members of Congress, from both parties, are working on a bipartisan plan to reform how Congress tallies Electoral College votes, among other things. The effort has the support of the President.

Good step in the right direction in terms of stopping a repeat of January 6.

Tonight's First Pitch Banquet at the Wes Watkins Center was a terrific event (as always).

Packed house (as always) and two great inductees into the Cowboy Baseball Hall of Fame: Don Wallace from OSU '60 (finished 3rd) & '61 (finished 2d) CWS teams as well as 2021 World Series winning pitching coach and OSU '78 and '79 alumnus Rick Kranitz.

Mike Gundy was sitting in front of me during the Spring Game prior to his freshman season. He didn’t talk much, but the few comments I heard him say were very insightful and mature beyond his years. I said to myself, “this kid is no average player.”

I was sitting in the stadium near the field surveying the players and new recruits we had prior to the first Fall practice of Barry’s freshman season. Coach Shimek was calling the running backs while they were seated on the bench right below me. We had signed three excellent prospects. Terrance Miller was the number one or two prospect in Texas. He looked really good. Vernon Brown was one of the top two backs in Oklahoma, as was Nash from Bartlesville. I took a look at Barry while he sat on the bench, and thought to myself, “This kid will never see the field.”

My batting average was 50% on my observations.

Why would anyone knowing the total sh!t shows that is NYC, stand at the edge of a subway platform and wait for the train?
