Most Coaches are not very smart

Whenever you hear coach so and so is a genius or what not, consider this:

From the early 90's to 2017, a period of almost a quarter of a century, the spread offense terrorized college football and confounded a bunch of so called genius defensive coordinators. The party only came to end when Matt Cambell said: gee, "What if we just play with 3 safety's?."

And just like that the spread was dead. Turns out that when you take away the vertical passing game, the Air Raid is NOT more efficient for long drives involving many plays than a pro style offense.

It took close to 15 years for coaches to understand you can't have 3 linebackers on the field against a spread team.

It took another 10 to realize you need 3 deep safety's and adjust the run fits. a 3-26 inverted tampa 2 is the trick.

Tailgating

Anyone have a number for someone to see why they’re not enforcing the marking your spot until noon on Friday?? We’ve been in the same spot for the last 10 yrs. Never had a problem with people marking their spots early. Now this year people are marking them earlier and earlier. Figured it would be better to talk to someone instead of throwing their stakes to the side and taking our spot back

With All The Negative News It's Nice To Hear Stories Like This

Nice gesture on Trump nd FOX's part.
In our little community I try to do business with mom and pop shops. We were especially diligent in this practice during Covid. Places like this are a treasure for our communities and they can not be lost.

I have دانيال /Dānyāl on ignore....

I see references to Ponca Dan in some posts, I have him on ignore, but I do have a suggestion for you. Daniel in arabic is: دانيال / Dānyāl. Dānyāl's name in Islamic calligraphy:

I suggest you copy and paste the proper Arabic / Islamic reference to Dānyāl in the future. This means Dānyāl is a Shia Muslim, considered a prophet. Dānyāl not mentioned in Sunni Islam. Maybe if you all do this, his Shia brothers looking for recruits in the United States might find him and activate him for the cause.

Whomever helped make these CCR concerts happen

Deserves lots of praise. What a great freaking idea. These shows should really help the NIL fund.

I hope OSU considers making this a yearly spring tradition. Hear me out.

A big concert at BPS.
Work with the Big 12 to have all our spring sports at home that weekend.
Remember the ten run.
Have Greeks do some cool shit.
Have different student organizations host smaller events/concerts that weekend

Make it basically a spring carnival every year. Especially since Spring games seem to be a thing of the past. May as well use this to our advantage.

Need to get our alumni and fans more engaged with the university. I’m really optimistic that this could turn into something for OSU/Stillwater faithful to hang their hats on.

Myron Roderick history...

I ran across this little bit of history about Myron Roderick. Many may not know but Myron was also the OSU Tennis Coach for a while and an outstanding racquetball player at the national level!!

There are three pictures here and Myron is the only person named but in the third picture Doc Cooper is standing on the left next to Myron (Myron’s right)

Iran’s Missile Barrage

Humiliated and infuriated the arrogant Zionists. They had to take out their frustrations on somebody, and women and children in Gaza were what they needed to assuage their fears. Look how tough the most moral military in the world is!

Sending Messages

I maintain the Israeli “pager attack” on Lebanon was an intentional terror attack with the unspoken message to the Lebanese people that “we can get to you any time we want, so you’d better be afraid, very afraid.” From the news items I have read the message was received loud and clear by the civilians, they are terrified.

By the same token the recent attack on Israel by Iran might be a message of its own. Iran intentionally attacked military targets (not civilians like Israel does), intentionally attacked at a time of day that would minimize killing or wounding people and explicitly said it was retribution for recent attacks on Iran by Israel, and there would be no more attacks as long as there are no more attacks by Israel. The message was similar to Israel’s message to Lebanese civilians; “your defenses are useless, we can get to you any time we want and next time we will target anytjing that moves.” Do you suppose Netanyahu & Company got the message the same way the Lebanese people did?
