Kamala Thanks Jimmy Carter For His Vote

While I have no doubt if Jimmy Carter were not in a vegetative state he would vote for whoever the Democrat Candidate is, the point is he is in a vegetative state. No disrespect to Jimmy Carter, other than he was a terrible President but how did a person living in a vegetative state cast his ballot?

Hiring coaches who won’t leave…

This is the most assinine, beta philosophy I can think of. Straight-up loser mentality. The opposite of what a coach or CEO should be doing in any endeavor. I remember when a decade ago our OC position was one of the most coveted assistant gigs in all of college football with the the previous three OCs (Fedora, Holgy and Monken) getting head coaching gigs from OSU. The only rational explanation I can think of as to why Gundy has employed this loser philosophy is that he is lazy and doesn’t want to put forth the effort to network and interview great up-and-comers.

Here are his words from 2019 in paragraph 7 and 8. I’d argue that hiring Lego over Lincoln Riley in 2013 cost us a Big 12 title.

A few thoughts about BYU

They put on a show!
They are extremely loud and they know when to go turbo with the noise.
Their QB is really good and made great throws.
The ice cream is top notch but it was a bad idea to eat it on a cold night.
Their use of drones was superb! It is something that I hope we incorporate into our GameDay production. Of course, it would help to have games at night.
Did I say that it was really loud in their stadium.
Nardo needs to be fired tonight.
Going to the game was a great experience and it would have been better if we had a defense.
I thought Dunm called a good game. The oline was really energized tonight and I think the play variety plus success had a lot to do with it.

Nardo

Should be left in Provo.

These kids can't tackle. How many half hearted attempts to tackle their running back have happened game after game? This defense is absolutely terrible even before we had players get hurt. It's embarassing having teams not even attempt a pass and just trot down the field for a touchdown without breaking a sweat.

This is one of the worst defenses ever under Gundy.

For the first time in 15 years,

I'm not confident that we can win a game. In my younger days, it was I hope that we might win. But the past 12-15 seasons, I went into every game believing that we had a chance. Even games when we were decided underdogs, I still had the feeling that we would pull it out and there have been several during that span. But now, I feel that I might be reliving the John Smith wrestling saga all over again.
I'm in my hotel room in Utah now wishing that I hadn't bought my tickets this spring. But I'm here and I guess I will go sit in the 40 degree night and I will cheer if we do something good but I expect to be leaving a game before it's completion due to the score and the weather.
