Your original post on this thread, the one where you said I should be put on a no-fly status because I oppose Israel's genocide? That original post?Read my original post to find your answers. I've given you all the answer you need. You just don't like the answer.
Read my original post to find your answers. I've given you all the answer you need. You just don't like the answer.Do you think He knew about the goings on in places like Peru, for instance, while He was alive on earth? Do you think He knew there was such a place as Peru (or what is known today as Peru)? Did He target His message only to those people with whom He came into personal contact, or should we think it is universal for all people all the time?

The world wasn't a peaceful place when he was walking the Earth; and, he didn't comment on it then.
So just read the Bible and you will get your answer. No need for speculation.
No, I don't need to go there, it's played out in front of us every day. I have to say I'm a little surprised that you and others on this board seem so indifferent to what Israel is doing, and it makes me wonder if you would have felt the same way if you had been alive when the Nazis were doing to Jews what the Israelis are doing to Palestinians. I am not religious, not a Christian, but I have always thought I agreed substantially with what I perceived to be Jesus' ethics: brothers' keeper, turn the other cheek, look after the least of us and whatnot. I admit I have been unaware that Jesus would not have cared about what one group of people were doing to another group, using as His excuse that He did not know about it. I would think a deity would know about it, and even if He wouldn't if He were walking on earth today there is no way He would not know what is happening. It puts my perception of Christian ethics in a new light.I don't know how Jesus would react to non-Christians slaughtering other non-Christians. I do know that he didn't comment (at least not within the Bible) on the atrocities the Romans committed on the Gaul or Germanic peoples, so its very possible that he wouldn't comment or judge on the actions here. At least not without experiencing and seeing it first hand. So, you headed over to Gaza to see first-hand, how Israel treats Palestinians?
