FYI - Mercury was going to make you pay whether you used your insurance or not. 26 percent is pretty reasonable. I have seen MUCH larger increases than that over the last 12 months. From all insurers. Not just Mercury.

You are cracking me up with not understanding how things work: There is no question that the stimulus packages from BOTH administrations contributed to inflation in the short term. HOWEVER there is also not question that large corporations have taken advantage of the short term price increases to realize that hey, Americans are willing to pay higher prices, so we are just going to keep them high, even as our input cost has gone down. You know how I know? BECAUSE THEY FREAKING ADMIT IT on earnings calls and annual reports. Last year and the beginning of this year, many industries were reporting record profits, and massive stock buybacks with extra cash they gained from keeping prices high. Do I blame them for keeping prices high? Not really - that's capitalism for you. But let's not pretend the government has anything to do with high prices now as they keep reporting massive profits.

They didnt "change her answer." They just didn't publish the FULL answer for the sake of time/clarity, etc. which is totally normal and news mags like this do all the freaking time. They did publish longer forms to the answer in several other locations - so you cant pretend they were trying to hide anything. Just admit you didnt realize that news magazines and TV shows edit interviews and don't understand how things work

These guys are already in shape from some really tough summer practices. I saw or heard or read somewhere that current practices are short, fun and all the guys really look forward to it. That sound like another program you've all heard of that always performs well at NCAAs?

They probably had 2 hours with Kamala and boiled it down to about 15 minutes of air time to hit the most interesting aspects
