answer is economics. Again, until someone funds an FDA clinical trial, it’s illegal to prescribe. And nobody has ever done such with off patent molecules. A 350M cost for low margin generic product.

There are billions in grants available for off patent trials for promising cures - you can't blame it on pharmaceutical companies.

I don’t have anything close to enough information, much less knowledge, on the subject at hand to have any sort of opinion in all of this.

My question is why isn’t MD Anderson (or any of the other institutions you’ve discussed) shouting from the mountain tops about this?
