The thing that catches my attention more than any other reason is how many other schools with far less resources and tradition are rated higher. Here is a list of schools that on paper are better according to their power rankings:

Morehead State
Liberty
Dexel
Boise State
Xavier
Florida Atlantic
Colorado State
Appalachian State
Richmond
UC Irvine

Nevada
McNeese State
Grand Canyon

So, if we had played all these teams this season home and away, we would have had a losing record. Granted, we played in the toughest conference in America, but for us to be rated below these teams is unacceptable.
I liked Boynton, but at the end of the day, he was making far more money than any of the coaches in the above list.
His increase in pay comes with higher expectations, which he was unable achieve.
