The Wednesday hearing will hear from three witnesses: Tara Lee Rodas, a HHS whistleblower formerly with an inspector general's office; Sheena Rodriguez, founder and president of Alliance for a Safe Texas; and Jessica Vaughn, director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies.

Rodas will warn of a problem that predates the administration but has increased significantly during the recent migrant crisis, according to a copy of her written testimony obtained by Fox News Digital.

"Today, children will work overnight shifts at slaughterhouses, factories, restaurants to pay their debts to smugglers and traffickers. Today, children will be sold for sex," she will say. "Today, children will call a hotline to report they are being abused, neglected, and trafficked. For nearly a decade, unaccompanied children have been suffering in the shadows.

Will sleepy put a stop to it? Think about it.

A Republican-led subcommittee on border child trafficking is going to have a Project Veritas puppet, a right-wing ‘nonprofit’ hack, and a Center for Immigration Studies shill as its witnesses. The Three Stooges lol

Think about it.

Any chance Democrat voters give a shit? Oops just saw Pedo Scott's post for the answer.

Maybe bring something better than Project Veritas, The Alliance for a Safe Texas and the Center for Immigration Studies to the stand.

Tomorrow’s testimonies sure to be earth-shattering lol

Soooooo…this Project Veritas puppet was hired during the Trump administration and may very well have been retained before Biden took office. at which point she wasn’t retained.

Sounds like a disgruntled former employee who misses her salary lol

Man you guys are hardliners huh?

Bet you said the same thing about vindman. Open your eyes . Politicians are corrupt and are there to enrich THEMSELVES. We laugh about all the corruption in Mexico or Iraq. Newsflash our government is corrupt as well. This stuff has gone one for decades. In today's age of the 24 hour news cycle and everyone is a reporter. It is so hard to keep sweeping stuff under the rug.

They should separate them at the border from their adult companions to deter smugglers from attempting to cross with captives and deter parents from sending them on the dangerous journey to America in the first place. If they are determined to be the parents then they can rejoin them in detention before they are immediately deported to Africa.

“Congress has given us certain authorities. Our authorities end when we have found a suitable sponsor to place that child with. We try and do some follow-up, but neither the child or the sponsor is actually obligated to follow up with us," he said.”

Convient business model. Of course that's the new liberal way. Rob, steal and cheat without reprocussions.

This is one reason there's a big push to educate healthcare providers in human trafficking recognition and intervention. The majority of trafficking victims will present for healthcare at some point. The fact that human trafficking has become nearly as profitable and even more desirable to the cartels than the drug trade is beyond reprehensible.
