The guy touts all these pitchers as having "excellent stuff" or "a major league arm" and then the go out on a mid-week game and get shelled. Typical Tom Holliday stuff. It's not about a pitcher's performance or results, it's about his analytics. For Holiday, it all about how good guy looks.
When I coached, I didn't care if a pitcher couldn't break a pane of glass. If he threw strikes and got outs, that was good enough for me.
To listen to TH, you'd think all of these pitchers on the OSU staff are going to come in and put up goose eggs game-after-game. Then they come in and give up 12 runs in a mid-week game.
