Really watching the Offense a lot, so expect more notes and input on the offensive side of the ball.
First drive was 4 wide until 2nd and goal- result TD. Quick routes with two seam routes to Presley. Loved the play calls, moved up tempo and a lot of out and crossing routes.
Second drive - 2 CBBs - Result 3 and out
Third drive - Started out in 4 wide (end of quarter)
Defense
Malcolm Rodriquez and Kamar Farrar is all over the place. Plenty of players flying to the football.

Shane overthrew Presley by about 7 yards. He hits Presley in stride that’s 6.
Shane hit Rashad Owens on a 5 in out and Owens got about 20 yards after catch.
Went two 2RB set and hit Warren on a flats route (loved the set)
Shane underthrew Martin on a jump ball in the endzone for 6 (PI called)
Ended the drive in 2 CBB sets and struggled to rush (no push from the line) Warren for 6 on a 2 yard carry.

4th series
Started out in a 1 CBB set. Great protection by the OL, First play of the series Tay looked to roll his ankle.
Nice misdirection run by LD, even better seal by the OL. They set the edge and sealed it to perfection. Couldn't have executed it any better.
Defense
Went to a 3-3-5 defense. Quickly went back to a 4-3, brought a blitz to stuff the run. Great penetration by the DL and LBers.

Special Teams
Presley tried to Run North and south instead of East and West. I am sure Gundy told him to plant his feet and get upfield instead of trying to out run them around the corner.
5th Series
Starts out in a 1 CBB set and first play takes a deep shot to Jaden Bray. Ball was underthrown but Jaden Bray made a heck of a play and went up and got the ball. Second play another Post route by Jaden, he had a slight step on the defender and Shane floated it to much.
Ran a G/T trap and the hole was there but LD ran right into the back of the right side of the line. Play was flowing to the left *Facepalm*
Ran a nice RB screen, if Godvleske turns his head and puts a shoulder on the DB, its a big gain. But instead he whiffs the block and Warren gets hit for a 1 yard gain.
4th and 3 we throw a jump ball to Presley (Wasn't technically a JUMP BALL, Shane underthrown again. Presley had a 2 step on his defender. Have to put that in front of Presley and let him go get it and thats 6)
6th Series
Starts out in a 1CBB set. Nice reverse to Johnson, a little more patience by him this play is a 20+ yard gain.
Shanes early chemistry with Jaden Bray is a beautiful sight.
Shane reminds me alot of Rudolph, his outside shoulder throws on 5-10 yard outs are money.

Starts out in a 2 CBB set. First play was a dive up the middle with Jackson. Ran right into the OLs back. They didn't have any push on this series.
Tay Martin Jump ball, Martin breaks a little ankle tackle, he probably scores from 90 yards out.
Pass protection has been great all night so far.

2nd play went with a draw play. You could tell it was a draw from the get go, LD just sits by Shane and waits for the handoff, have to sell that better. Brandon Weeden saying, pretty predictable play by Oklahoma State.
3rd play - Went to a 2 RB set, was a nice play design but horrible execution. RBs were supposed to break out into the flats but got caught at the line of scrimmage in a traffic jam. First time MSU had great penetration all night.

9th series
Starts out in 1CBB set. First play Godvleske gets blown up and LD gets hit quickly. The hole he wanted was there just was hit in the backfield before he could get started.
Second play, LD has a massive hole and instead of streaking outside he tries to cut it back inside. Gets a 8 yard gain but should have been 20+
3rd play, OL gets absolutely pushed off the line. LD just uses his speed to get to the edge. Holding call takes away the first down. Now its 3rd and 11. Clock expires
