"A study by the Pew Research Center found that 61% of U.S. adults today find the Republican Party unfavorable, while 57% shared the same sentiment toward the Democratic Party. About a quarter of Americans say they have an unfavorable view of both major parties, a considerable jump from just 6% in 1994."

"More than half - 56% of Americans - believe the current parties do such a poor job that a third major party is needed, according to a survey by Gallup. Indeed, minor parties are seeing an uptick in support and interest in recent years."

Probably need four parties. One for moderate Democrats, one for Republicans, one for Socialist and one for conservatives.

I just don’t ever see a four party system happening. Would be nice, but honestly would also be concerning. Dems are running so hard left that the left side of the dem party could ultimately end up in control. Which would ruin the US.

Have you seen the policies Democrats have enacted the last two years? The Democrat Party has already been taken over by the far left, they are already destroying the country. The scary part is leftist don't think they've gone far enough left.

Dems doused and eliminated the Green Party from election ballots.

That was an acceptable option for leftists that didn't like everything about the Dems.

What we really need is simply the restoration of the filibuster in full for all congressional actions. Force compromise. No 50 vote budget reconciliation crap. No 50 vote minimum to confirm cabinet members and judges. The continued carving out of exceptions to the filibuster has granted parties areas where they get majority, extremist rule and has directly led to the extremism in the parties.

I personally am skeptical that a poll in 2022 reports that more people have an unfavorable view of Republicans than Democrats.

2 pesos agenda. Loves him some dandelion. 🤣
If more people have an unfavorable view of Republicans than Democrats why is it expected the Republicans are going to slobber nock the Democrats in the upcoming elections? I suspect this is Cliff Clavin trying to subtly instill concern in the MAGA crowd. I have a vision that Cliff, aka @my_2cents, has a cheesy mustache and a greasy goatee like the guy in the silent films that tied the damsel to the railroad tracks.
