Sorry I just have to start another thread to focus on this. Here at Mercy in OKC they are currently using half of the recovery room as “ICU” rooms bc there isn’t enough space in the hospital and nowhere to send them. I worked directly w a Pulmonologist who has 10-15 patients on the floor that would easily be ICU pts during any other time but aren’t sick enough right now. I get hospital COVID reports every day, it’s terrifying. Please be safe. please wear masks. They work, if only minimal amount, they work. Most importantly, stay away from people outside your small bubble as much as you can. This is only going to get worse guys, again, please be safe.
