Non - we need some musak!

Escape, Channel 149 on Sirius XM. Easy listening format. Next best thing to Musak.
XM Radio stripped stereo from fifties and sixties gold to add more channels. I stripped my subscription from XM Radio.

I won't listen to "Who Put the Ram in the Ram A Lam A Ding Dong" in mono.

Fifties and sixties songs recorded in stereo were rare. I kinda enjoyed hearing a mono song coming directly from behind the driver seat, the passenger seat or middle of the back seat. XM ended all that. Everything now comes from directly behind my driver seat. Fox Business on ch 113 ain't enough to keep me hangin' on.

Never had it on 8-track, but definitely remember it from our local C&W AM station.

BTW, does anyone still listen to AM?
I listen to the giant 50,000 watt clear channel WBAP 820 Fort Worth talk regularly. I'm about to listen on my way to What-A-Burger.

I've listened to OKC's 50,000 watt KOMA (now KOKC) at Pearl Harbor. I used to listen to KOMA every night at Fairchild AFB at Spokane. An old Air Force buddy once told me he listened to KOMA every night in the Aleutian Islands.
