There are several liberals on the board that I enjoy bantering with. They are honest people who believe differently than I do on many subjects. I enjoy these people. We make an effort to understand each other and they can admit when their side comes up short on something. I can admit when my side fails to meet my expectations.

I find it hard to believe that you’re a lawyer. Lawyers are among my favorite people. The successful lawyers possess something that you do not: the ability to understand the opposing point of view and to craft an argument to persuade.
