PSU approves $700M Beaver Stadium renovation
Penn State's board of trustees approved a renovation to Beaver Stadium on Tuesday worth up to $700 million.
NIL lawsuit is no concern. Lost football revenue because of NIL, no worries. Finding funds to support Penn State NIL and athletic endeavors, hey that is no step for a stepper.
PSU has a stadium now that seats twice as many as BPS. They are about to pour another $700MM into a renovation and bet people will show up. That is the belief of the PSU Board Of Trustees. Who says we will fund this through donation, concessions, sponsorships, and ticket sales. Our BoR sits on their thumbs and says we will not do dick until we have 100% of funding to hang new toilet paper holders in the Student Union. Much less fund other athletic venues sorely needed. We sit on this board, and implode when a conversation starts about facilities over lining some kids pocket. PSU looks at OSU in it's entirety and says hold my beer being the premier land grand college.
OSU cannot hunt in same world with schools that have this kind of support.
