It's that time of the year...but don't expect any news on traditional type "Junior Days" with large groups of juniors and younger guys on a couple different Saturday's in January and February.
This cycle, the staff is opting to do invidual or small groups with a much more personalized visit than they were able to do with big groups. This started a little bit with the last (2023) cycle.
I think it could be a smart move overall. The key, of course, is having targets (who also have strong interest in OSU) identified very early in the process.
That in turn may signal a move towards the recruiting cycle moving more toward younger prospects like we have seen in other sports (baseball especially). That, IMO is a response/reaction to the NIL+Portal era. Get your preferred targets ID'd early and then get em committed early too.
Anyway, just sharing this small bit of info with the board.
