I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere. Probably in the game thread, but I haven't read most of it.

Our coaches expected Houston to key on Ollie, and stack the box. So, they came out with a pass happy first quarter attack to try to take advantage. They figured Ollie would be fresher in the second half, and the Houston D would be worn down. The first part of the plan did not work out at all. The second part worked perfectly. Ultimately, the plan resulted in a win.

However, I think the plan was similar against UCF and was completely blown up by deflected passes that turned into interceptions, plus bad weather.

Part of this is likely due to not having a legitimate back up RB. Hopefully Collins is back Saturday 🤞.

BYU will expect a similar strategy. Will they get it, or will Gundy/Dunn change things up?
