So now we have to intercept weapons from entering Yemen because of Iran. Sure seems like they love war.... We better make a deal with them to help make them stronger and richer.

The rodent in chief would auction off his daughters to the highest bidding sheik (maybe his canine companion as well) to be relevant and or successful, too bad every world leader out there sees him as nothing more than a groveling little socialist wimp ass. Any deal he makes will be short on teeth and long on useless promises.

You're too kind to the sorry bastard; he'll blow the Ayatollah and his goat to get this deal, which sells out Israel, the entire Middle East, and the U.S.. History will not treat this dog turd kindly, but none of us will survive to have a clue, so it doesn't matter.

they say he has the opportunity to do more harm in the next 18 months or so than he has in the past 6 years....

How do you feel about Nixon visiting China in 1972 when the Chinese were helping North Vietnam fight against us?

Today's revelation was great. So on top of lifting sanctions that should (but didn't) have caused IRAN to come groveling to the table and being more the willing to concede on the nuclear options, we are to PAY Iran for any agreement made. I know $50Billion is a drop in the bucket for the US economy, but thats 3x NASA's budget. While I'd prefer to not "waste" that money, if the government is going to spend it, I know which of the two groups I'd prefer to see get the money.

Don't bring up Nixon am I talking about Nixon here? Also that was a chump move also if you want my opinion. I am an American not a democrat or a republican sir. I want is best for America first and for most. I was one of the few saying people siding with Putin on the Crimea deal and making fun of Obama were dumb same for them praising the Jordan king. Then this donkey gives them 50B as a signing bonus. This guy is the biggest donkey to ever hold the POTUS office.

Because the world isn't a black and white place. Sometimes you have to talk to your enemies, like Nixon and Reagan (God bless him) did. My example was to point out what a joke the Neocon faction of the GOP has become. That faction thinks Nixon, Reagan and Bush I were too moderate.

Obama is a joke but the title of "biggest donkey" goes to his predecessor.

*YAWN* Thanks for playing the "blame Bush" card again for the umpteenth time in defense of the most incompetent community organizer ever elected. I won't hold my breath waiting for you to outline Barry's "plan" to clean up the total PILE OF SHIT he and sycophants have dumped on the Middle East, because he doesn't have a f'n clue.

Not defending Obama at all. Just pointing that he, like his predecessor, is an incompetent fool. But he hasn't started a bullsh*t war to the tune of 4500+ dead Americans and trillions wasted. And until he does that, he's not the worst president ever.

The only thing worst then starting a "bullshit war" that killed 4500+ Americans is the guy who just gave the country back to the terrorist and didn't care about those 4500+ brave lives that tried to help bring democracy to the people of Iraq. Now those people are being killed, raped and tortured by the same group that Odumbo said wasn't a threat.

Exactly right vito. obama is setting the table nicely for the next president to have to use force.

A fifth-grader with a rudimentary knowledge of Iraq's history could've told Bush and his cronies that the Iraq War was a bad, bad idea and would create an enormous power vacuum that has now been filled by ISIS and Iran. Why do you think Bush I (a great president) didn't follow Saddam back to Baghdad when Saddam ducked and ran out of Kuwait? How long and at what cost did you want us to keep a presence there and try to teach the Iraqis to act like civilized people? 20 years, 50 years, 100 years? Worst foreign policy blunder in US history.

The power vaccum came about due to Obama's announced withdrawal, just as he was warned would occur. How long have we had troops in S. Korea? Japan? How long were they in West Berlin?

Is Bush also responsible for the "power vacuum" in Libya? Egypt? The civl war and genocide in Syria? The debacle in Yemen?

Bush I was a "great President"? Why'd he even have to attack Saddam in the first place? For the same reason he didn't "follow him back to Baghdad" -- his friends in Saudi Arabia requested it.

Damn. Marshall with a slam dunk.

And Vito correctly pointing out how Obama exacerbated the issue with poor decision making.

As more time passes, the more logic pushed back against the "but Bush" argument, shifting the spotlight to the man who has been in power the last 7 years.

When the US pulled out of Iraq it was after 20 years of direct US military involvement. We were already at a 20 year investment. There was definitely more to be done, and more time needed before a military withdrawal was warranted.

GW Bush was only responsible for 8 years of that involvement. Not only that he was responsible for the removal of a tyrant that continue to commit genocide on hi s own people, and was prepared to do worse if given the chance.

The better question might be "After a 20 year investment was Iraq worth more lives and money?" I would say yes it was, due to a strategic locale, and resources, but an argument was made and won for the opposite of that.
