When L Hamilton was our coach I never felt Hamilton was a very good teacher/coach. We had real struggles winning on the road I believe because L didn't know to teach his players how to win on the road (maybe he didn't know how to win on the road either).
One of the things that changed win Eddie came on board was the discipline he instilled in his players that allowed them to win games on the road. Obviously Eddie was a very good coach throughout his entire career.
One of the things I feel strongly about is that you can tell where your program is and how well your coached by your road record. Ford's road record before this season was .455. His B12 road record before this season is .250.
I realize the contract situation we're in and that we may be a few years away from ridding ourselves of Ford and his contract. But I don't hold out much hope of him turning it around (and I haven't for about 2 years).
Thoughts?
