One of my mentors growing up was a fellow named Wayne Booth. He was from Cordell and he was State FFA President in 1943-44. Every year during football season he would tell me about an old OSU homecoming in which he said the AGR’s “invented” the house decs. They hung a roll of toilet paper in the front yard and painted a large sign that said “WIPE’M CLEAN AGGIES”.
I don’t know if any of it was true or not, but 30 years later I still remember him telling that story.
