So we took my step daughter on an antelope hunt in the texass panhandle. We looked at several good specimens we could shoot but she wanted one that was on the wrong side of the fence / highway so we waited. We later spotted another one that looked good and my wife and her stalked it while I guided them from a distance. When they came over a terrace they got busted and the herd ran off a few hundred yards. My wife took off her jacket and waved it in the air and they came back to within 75 yards.
My SD made a nice clean shot to bring it down for her first big game kill. We were coming by the taxidermist on the way home so we dropped it off and only measured the length 13" & 13 1/2". The mass is pretty good so now after measuring one at home I shot a few years back we think it may get B&C.
