Man it feels good to win a tough game again! Coaches had them ready to play and deserve the credit. Defense came to play tonight and you could tell an emphasis was made on cleaning up mistakes and simplifying reads.
The DL has been the strength of the team and they shut down the running game and forced Howard to throw the ball more than he and the KSU staff wanted him to. Martin was all over the place and Epps did his best Jason Taylor impression tonight. Really good to see the defense play well tonight. That side of the ball has some talent and will need to play at a high level the rest of the season.
Ollie is slowing getting more and more consistent and his playmaking ability really helps this offense that still really struggles but made enough big plays when needed tonight. I thought the offensive staff devised a really good game plan with the limited resources they are working with. Hale is a stud and is a weapon for us.
Looked like a great crowd and good to see life in this cowboy team. No need to dissect any negatives or do anything other than celebrate a Cowboy win tonight! Let’s hope for the first ever double loss tomorrow down in Dallas.
