Friend brought this over this week

A good friend of mine brought over a new hand gun he just got. He's a West Point graduate and this year was his 45th reunion. They had Kimber 1911's made with their class moto. Thought you all would enjoy.

My dad really liked collecting guns. I have a couple fancy ones but I prefer things I can shoot. Still, I love to see the engraving and inlay on the customs. Some is utterly amazing.

Absolutely. Still, I love detail work on almost anything. I'm fascinated with engraving, scroll work, etc. mostly because I have no talent in that direction.
