Justice Dept. to pay $138.7M to Nassar victims
The U.S. Justice Department announced a $138.7 million settlement with more than 100 people who accused the FBI of grossly mishandling allegations of sexual assault against Larry Nassar.
What is $138MM among friends? Oh that's right, it is the cost of the Justice Department and FBI sitting on a situation they knew about. Throw in Michigan State's liability and USA Gymnastics turning their back on these young ladies and oh my, total settlement +$1.1 billion dollars. No amount of money is enough to offset what those ladies had done to them, and in my opinion Nasser should be #1 or close to the front of the bus to hell on Judgement Day.
We can bring in politics to the discussion but this is just way past who was in office at the time. This is more about protecting young people from predators and learning a lesson when you don't take action.
