Drip... drip...drip

Ok back up here Pilt. First off I am not going around bashing Hillary for Benghazi. All I said is she lied and you said she didn't. I didn't say it was preventable though after the fact it did look that way. People get bad intel they make mistakes much like Bush in Iraq. I just wish she would own up to it. I highly doubt Benghazi will bring her campaign down unless there is some major news to break from the personal server. I do think the Clintons act as if they are above the law and untouchable. Thus why her lying annoyed me. But please deflect the issue being discussed.

All I am saying is if she lied it should be pretty easy to document it.

It's quite clear that a cover story and intended fall guy (video producer) were produced to try to divert attention from waht it was exactly that went down and away from Sec. of State Clinton's role in it.

What exactly the cover-up was attempting to hide remains to be seen. Certainly part of it was the lack of security in light of the ambassador's mutliple requests to increase it and intelligence reporting that they believed the Benaghzi facilty was a target 10 dasy before the attack.

All I am saying is if she lied it should be pretty easy to document it.

I think it has been documented though by families of those who lost their lives trying to defend and escape the embassy. I just think one of the worst things in the world to do is lie to a person at the funeral of a loved one. To me this is more disgusting then the mistake of not taking the terror threat serious and sending in help. Just keep your mouth shut if your not going to own up to the mistake. Then again though this is a women who let her husband humiliate her on the national scene and still stayed by his side for the sake of her political career. I really don't want a person with these morals running our nation.

I think there are facts out there unless the family members of the deceased are making it up. This spinning is all for political gains and it makes me upset is all.

Benghazi is nothing -- a ruse, a distraction. It is useful only to show the black hearts and staggering hypocrisy of the wingnuts that dither about Benghazi. 4500 americans died in the stupid Iraq war. 4 died in the Benghazi terrorism. Of course, guess which one is upsetting to the wingnuts -- the one that's over 4000 times worse? Nope -- the one where 4 people were killed. The 4,000 just aren't that important. Nobody outside the right wing echo chamber gives a shit about it -- 4 americans getting killed in Iraq was a good month.

I encourage open discussion about it because it so simply and elegantly exposes the most basic sociopathic right wing hunger for power. Anyone that bitches about Benghazi will literally look the other way about anything from their side, and attack democrats over anything. It's a clumsy, self-defeating anthem that should be amplified and shouted from the rooftops. Sensible people recognize "Benghazi" as a code for "I'm a nut."

Once again the troll shows up to debate something and all he brings is the Iraq war. Congrats sys you are the first person ever to make my ignore list.

What was the vote on the war authorization for Iraq?

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
-- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do"
-- Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

"There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies."
Letter to President Bush, Signed by:
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), and others, Dec 5, 2001

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them."
-- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

Nurse Ratched spoke to the media for the first time in a month yesterday and was asked about Iraq. She said she made a mistake voting for the use of force. End of story. Nothing this woman does will detract her supporters. She has never, nor will she ever do anything wrong in the eyes of the fan boys. Every time I hear this woman speak it's nails down a chalkboard.

Sic em' Glove.

Even if I grant you that these people recalling moments from months ago aren't mistaken in the exact same way JV is in this thread, Hillary lied to two people off the record. BENGHAZI!!!!
Sean Smith's mother told this story to the media immediately after the memorial. So your ridiculous narrative that they may have bad memories is pathetic.

You're a sycophant for Hillary and Obama, just admit it you'll feel so much better letting the truth set you free.
